HEALTHY GREEN SMOOTHIE

Hey Everyone! It has been quite busy lately, but let’s chat about an awesome smoothie. I am all for smoothies because they offer a quick and easy way to get additional nutrients in minutes. Oh yea taste great as well. I froze the pineapples so the smoothie would be cold.

All you need is a blender and a few ingredients to make a delicious smoothie. I know the thought of a green smoothie seems not to taste good, right? But don’t let the color scare you, this is really good and healthy.

What I used:

  • Fresh Spinach benefits includes supports brain health, protects eye health, provides antioxidants and anti inflammatory benefits.
  • Fresh Pineapple (I froze) benefits include helps immunity, helps heal wound, strengthen bones and helps improve gut health.
  • Chia Seeds benefits includes great fiber source, loaded with antioxidants and high quality protein
  • Water

If you have kiddos and want them to get more veggies, drinking smoothies are great ways to get them involved and excited. They will love it.
