5 WAYS TO BE THANKFUL

Hey Everyone!

When you think of Thanksgiving, what comes to mind? You think about the delicious food, family, friends or is it just another day. Even though this holiday is celebrated once a year, you should live a life of being thankful each and everyday. Yes, it is recognized on the 4th Thursday of the month of November, but it should be your daily desire!

Being thankful deals with showing gratitude or in other words the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. Being thankful helps you to not to take things for granted. Many times we can get so use to the people in our lives and our day to day routine and forget that we MUST be thankful for what we have and not always look over the fence and what others have. You have been blessed with a lot.

WHAT WAYS CAN YOU BE THANKFUL?

  • Be intentional about telling others “thank you”.
  • Thank God daily for blessing you with life.
  • Write down things in your life you are thankful for.
  • Replace words of complaint into words of thanksgiving.
  • Help others and serve.

So as you celebrate today, remember there is always somewhere that wish that could be in your shoes. You are living and have plenty to be thankful for. Let it not be a one time thing, but live a life of thanksgiving and gratefulness for the many blessings!!!!!
