Tasty Tuesday Tip (Turkey Sausage & Northern Beans)

 IMG_4961

Hey Everybody! Today’s Tuesday Tasty Tip will be a dish that I thought about the other day as I was in the grocery store. I don’t buy these type of turkey sausages a whole lot, but I thought that I could show you guys a quick and easy meal that can be prepared in about 30 minutes! Remember if you don’t have much time, you still can provide your family with a good, hearty meal in no time! I recommend to always keep canned beans on hand because there is so much that can be done with them:). So I will name today’s dish: Turkey Sausage & Northern Beans

What you need:

  • 2 cans of Northern Beans(drained)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes(drained)
  • 1 pkg Butter Ball Turkey (Dinner) Sausage
  • Chicken Broth (1-2 cups)
  • 1/4 c diced onions

Instructions:

Add a little olive oil in a pan. Add diced onions. Cut up your dinner sausages into 1/2 inch slices and add to pan along with onions. Stir occasionally and let sausages brown a bit. Add beans, tomatoes and broth and cover and let simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally and add additional seasoning as needed. Serve in a bowl. Enjoy!!

Remember small steps equals BIG change!!!
