Hey Everybody! I am BACK!!! It has been a couple of weeks since I posted a new, Tasty Tuesday Tip. I had a chicken fajitas the other day and thought that this easy dish would be good for Tasty, Tuesday, Tip. Many people like to eat tacos and fajitas so I think it is a very good idea to prepare if you are short on time, but want to still eat something that taste good. Remember eating healthier is possible, just take small steps and see what you can come up with. In this particular recipe, there are only a few ingredients. Therefore, it doesn’t take much time and most of these ingredients you may already have at home.
Here is what I used:
- Chicken Tenderloins (5)
- Red & Green Bell Pepper (Not all of it)
- Olive oil, cumin, lite salt, pepper
- Flour Tortillas
Chicken Fajitas are so simple and easy. There are different ways that they can be prepared but I am giving you a quick way that will have dinner on the table in no time!!
I seasoned my chicken with lite salt, cumin and pepper. You can also marinate your chicken over nite and add some chili powder, etc but since I was short on time myself I just added my seasoning and cooked the chicken up.
I added olive oil to my pan and put my chicken in pan and seasoned the other side. Make sure your chicken cooks thoroughly. I used my Pioneer Woman Butterfly Vintage Frying Pan!!
While my chicken was cooking, I cut some peppers. You can use other color peppers also. I decided to do red and green. Cut them up lengthwise.
The peppers were next added to the chicken so they can sauteed along with the chicken!!!
Once chicken is done, place on cutting board and cut to be prepared for fajitas!!!!
Next I plate my chicken peppers up and warmed my flour tortillas. Time to EAT!!! Now whose ready to eat some chicken fajitas??
