Hey Everybody! Nutrition is a very hot topic in society today and many yet are in need of help in knowing how to have better nutrition and health. Poor nutrition and a lack of physical activity can lead to sickness and disease. If you consistently have a diet of fried foods, salty foods, high fat foods, high calorie foods, overly processed foods, no fruits/vegetables, high sugar, etc… it will lead to disease. For this reason, it is important that you monitor your intake.

Even though it may seem that a person’s weight is a personal problem, the cost of obesity-related illness amounts to $190.2 billion dollars in medical cost in the U.S. It is a national issue, not just a personal issue. I encourage you to take steps that will lead to better heath.

Taking steps to help you stay healthy will be beneficial to your life. Understand that we live in a technological society and everyone has their face in front of some type of gadget!!! As a result, we are less active and are eating more! I charge you today to start taking some step in the right direction. You don’t have to be perfect, but do SOMETHING!!! Set small goals each week for yourself and as you accomplish it, try another goal. It can be that simple!
