Tasty Tuesday Tip (How to make homemade hash browns)

Hey Everybody! So for the next 10 days (maybe longer), I will be eating no meats. It may seem like a hard task, but it can be done. I believe that if you set your mind on really accomplishing something..you can do it. Many find it hard to find meal ideas or snacks to eat, but here is one simple idea that literally takes minutes to prepare. I will be making homemade hash browns (potatoes). You don’t have to eat fried fries full of calories and unhealthy fats..just prepare your own potatoes. When I make these potatoes I keep the skin on because that includes nutrients also. So don’t peel them♥. Anyhow, let’s get to this recipe. You can eat them for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They can be paired with veggies, soups, etc..  Let’s get to the recipe!

Here is what I used:

  • Potatoes (washed)
  • Olive oil
  • Pepper

Next, I diced the potatoes up into small squares.

I mixed with olive oil and some pepper. Then placed into a 350 degree oven until golden brown!

Golden brown potatoes!!!! They are delicious and can be a substitution for fries…my kids love these and they are very small and easy to pick up with your hands!!!!

I hope you enjoy this recipe and also remember you can add peppers to these to add some veggies! Small Steps Equals BIG Change! Take small steps and see what change will happen in your life! Enjoy!
