Woman of Purpose & Destiny Gathering (Greenwood, MS)

Hey Everybody! Have you ever wondered…What is my purpose or Why am I here? These questions are very common and only God can truly answer these questions for us through His Word and having a relationship with Him. This past Saturday we had a Woman of Purpose & Destiny Gathering in Greenwood, MS. This event was started last year at the library in Tunica, MS and it was a time for women to come together and share and to learn from one another. I believe that it is important to connect with those who are “like minded”. In order for you to reach that place God has for you, you must be aware of your connections. My desire is to see women saved, healed and delivered. Not just teens and college aged young women, but I believe that God wants us all to walk in our purpose.

There were many questions. Some things that we discussed include watching the company you keep or in your words, if you are going to live a saved life, it is vital that you hang around people who are like minded. You can’t hang out persons that will pour junk and mess into your spirit. God wants to use you and it is necessary that you connect with person who can push you into your destiny!

Here Michelle is sharing with the ladies!

Vanessa & Zenobia shared great knowledge and information and encouraged the ladies on how to live a saved life in the midst of growing up with obstacles or even in “saved” household. It was not always easy  but Zenobia stated that we have to watch the “back door”.

We encouraged the young ladies that it is okay to be who God has called them to be. They don’t have to be like everyone else and at times…you will not fit in even when you try hard to. Many will recognize the difference and that there is a call on your life. It was discussed that even if there was no father in the household, God still had a place your life. Mothers were encouraged to be that person that their daughters could go to for guidance and help and overall having a relationship with Jesus Christ.

I wrote a book, called One Day At A Time and I believe that it can offer you some encouragement in your journey as a woman in today’s society. So you can check that out. Also Anna Jones who was not with us Saturday wrote a book that I believe will help you if you ever felt as if there was no hope and that you have gone too far and have done too much for the Father to love you! This book is a good read — Learning to Love, My Story, God’s Glory I believe that you will be enlightened and encouraged that no matter your story God can get the glory out of it!

I can’t go into detail on everything we discussed Saturday, but I will say the power of God was in the house to save and deliver. I offer Christ to you today– no matter what age you are, you are not too old or too young. God is ready to use you for His glory. You are a woman of purpose & destiny. Don’t settle for less. Know your worth and how valuable you are to God. Read your Bible daily and ask God to reveal Himself to you. Yes You! Remember that no matter what state you are in..God is ready to use you today. You maybe in your teens, 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, etc… it’s never too early or late to submit yourself to God.

Praying for ya!!!!! If you have any questions or comments..feel free to share!
